Legoland Billund Denmark Vlog
Welcome to our thrilling Legoland Billund Denmark Vlog. Join us on this family day out to one of the most iconic theme parks in the world, where we experienced an unforgettable day filled with exhilarating rides, delicious food, and unexpected surprises.
Our family trip to Legoland Billund was a dream come true. From the moment we stepped foot inside the park, we were transported to a world of imagination and creativity. Legoland Billund, located in the charming town of Billund, Denmark, is a haven for Lego enthusiasts of all ages. The park is brimming with incredible Lego creations, exciting rides, and opportunities for endless fun.
One of the highlights of our day at Legoland Billund was the incredible array of rides that kept our hearts racing and smiles on our faces. Here are some of the rides that we had the pleasure of experiencing:
Polar X-Plorer: Our absolute favorite! This exhilarating rollercoaster takes you on a thrilling journey through the Arctic, complete with sharp twists, sudden drops, and breathtaking views. It’s a must-try for adrenaline junkies.
The Dragon: Hop aboard The Dragon for a medieval adventure! This family-friendly rollercoaster combines excitement with a touch of whimsy as it takes you through a Lego-built medieval castle, complete with knights, dragons, and enchanted forests.
Lego Safari: Embark on a Lego Safari adventure where you can spot life-sized Lego animals, including elephants, giraffes, and lions. It’s an educational and visually stunning attraction for animal lovers and Lego enthusiasts.
Flying Eagle: Take flight on the Flying Eagle, a classic amusement park ride with a Lego twist. You’ll soar through the air in eagle-shaped cars, providing a bird’s-eye view of the park.
Miniland: While not a traditional ride, Miniland is one of the park’s most iconic attractions. It features intricate Lego recreations of famous landmarks from around the world, including cities like Copenhagen and New York. It’s a must-see for Lego enthusiasts and those interested in impressive Lego architecture.
For lunch we went to Captain Rogers’ Restaurant. We couldn’t resist the classic fish and chips, and it didn’t disappoint. The taste of the perfectly fried fish and crispy chips is still fresh in our memories.
After the park closed for the day, we made our way to the Legoland Billund Hotel for dinner. The hotel is full Lego charm and offers a buffet that’s fit for kings and queens. It was on the expensive side though at £94.
Following our dinner, we embarked on an unexpected adventure. We walked to the nearby Lalandia, a place we had heard about but never visited. Lalandia is a renowned holiday and leisure center located in Billund, Denmark, and it’s known for its fantastic indoor waterpark, tropical gardens, and family-friendly activities. We spent about 20 minutes exploring this vibrant hub of entertainment and noting the various exciting attractions it had to offer for our future trips. Lalandia is a perfect complement to the Legoland experience, offering even more opportunities for fun and relaxation for families visiting the area.
We walked back to Billund Airport to catch our flight home to Manchester. However, our flight was delayed, and we found ourselves spending an additional three long hours at the airport.
We finally got home at 4am, very tired after a full day at Legoland Billund Resort.
