Paris is known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and delicious cuisine, making it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. If you’re planning a trip to the City of Lights and looking for a hotel that’s conveniently located near public transportation, then TimHotel Paris opposite Gare du Nord train station might be just what you’re looking for.
We recently stayed at TimHotel and were impressed with its convenient location and comfortable family room. The hotel is located directly across the street from the Gare du Nord train station, making it incredibly easy to get around Paris and even to other parts of Europe. This was particularly handy as we had arrived in Paris by train and the hotel was just a stone’s throw away from the station.
Our family room had a double bed and a single bed, which was perfect for us as I was traveling with my two children Matthew and Holly. The room was spacious and clean, although it did feel a little dated with some of the furnishings showing signs of wear and tear. The beds were comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep during our stay and very little noise despite its location.
One thing to note is that the hotel’s elevator is quite small and can only fit one person with luggage at a time. This was a bit inconvenient for us, but we managed to make it work. If you have a lot of luggage, it might be worth keeping this in mind.
Overall, we were happy with our stay at TimHotel opposite Gare du Nord train station. Its convenient location and comfortable family room made it an excellent choice for our trip to Paris. While some of the furnishings in the room were a little dated, this didn’t detract from our overall experience. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future, especially if we were arriving in Paris by train.
