Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter

The Harry Potter film series made Leavesden its home for more than ten years. As the books were still being released while the films were being made, the production crew saved many of the iconic sets, props and costumes that were created especially for the films. Now Warner Bros. have opened the doors on two large sound stages crammed packed with all things Harry Potter and anyone with a ticket can visit them.

London Film and Comic Con 2014

Every year in July I make an annual pilgrimage to London at attend the London Film and Comic Con. This year promised to be the biggest yet including guests like Carrie Fisher, Michael Biehn, Casper Van Dien, Dina Meyer and Stan Lee in what is purportedly to be his last European Convention.

CBeebies Land at Alton Towers

CBeebies Land is Alton Towers latest land in their ever popular theme park. Aimed at young children and fans of the TV Shows from the CBeebies channel it offers an immersive experience for your toddlers. I decided to check it out a month after it opened with my three year old son Matthew.

Copenhagen Meeting – The reality of business travel

In my old role I used to do a lot of travelling for work, my job title was International Marketing Executive after all. Lots of people used to say to me it must be great flying to lots of countries on a regular basis and for the most part it was. The reality is though that for the majority of the time you just see airports, taxis, hotels and meeting rooms.

London with the Russians

Every year I help organise a customer event for up to 40 Russian customers, this year it was taking place in London, over the four days we visited the Shard, Planet Hollywood, Madame Tussauds, Sherlock Holmes Museum, Tate Britain culminating with an award ceremony onboard HMS Belfast.

It is that time of year again to head down to London to attend the London Film and Comic Con, as usual I plan to see a show when I am down there, this time it is “The Cripple of Inishmaan” part of the Michael Gandage season and staring Daniel Radcliffe.

Peppa Pig World

The day after we went to Thomas Land at Drayton Manor we went to Peppa Pig World at PaultonsPark near Southampton in Hampshire.

PaultonsPark had a lot of rides but we just focused on the Peppa Pig World part and spent most of the day there. Matthew enjoyed here more than yesterday and his favourite ride was the wave rider a tall steep slide which he loved.
